As a 17-year veteran of cooperative and condominium management, Tim recognizes the demands and expectations of New York City residents. As the firm's President since 1996, Tim has overseen the Property Managers and Sales Agents up until 2001 when he hired Steve Kessler as a Director of Operations.

Tim started his real estate career in his teens when he worked as a doorman and porter on his summer breaks from college in many of the properties the firm still manages today. Having had the experience of servicing residents from a young age, he prides his self on being there for residents in their time of need.

After graduating from Iona College with a Bachelor of Arts, Tim worked for a brief time in advertising and then for the D'Agostino Family in the grocery business. After joining his father's firm in 1987, Tim worked closely with his father, John J. Grogan, the firm founder learning all of the facets of converting rental properties to cooperatives and condominiums.

Tim has made it a point get to know all of the properties managed by the firm and frequently attends Board meetings for many of the properties. He understands the role of Board members and their role in managing the affairs of their neighbors. It is extremely important to Tim to be available to Board members, residents and building employees alike. He is directly responsible for preparing the annual budget for every property and presents the budgets to the Board regularly. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and has also been licensed as an Insurance Broker.

As a resident of Manhattan, Tim lives in one of the properties managed by his firm with his wife Cheryl and daughter, Jacqueline.

Ariella Grinberg joined Grogan & Associates three years ago, upon entering her freshman year of college. While working in the office, she became familiar with the Real Estate Market and assisted the other Sales Associates, until in July 2006, she became a Sales Agent herself.

Born and raised in Manhattan, and obtaining her education at Fordham University's Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx, she has a vast knowledge of the city and what it can offer. With a major in the College of Business Administration, Ariella understands all aspects of financing and the stresses involved.

She is patient and understanding and with optimism and energy, she will guide you through the selling and buying process as best as possible.

Ellen Halperin joined Grogan Homes seven years ago after working 25 years in sales and marketing for the Fashion and Home Textile industry. Ellen believes that no matter what industry you are from, it is all about servicing the customer. Whether she is listing a property for her seller or locating the perfect home for her buyer, Ellen is committed to making the end result a positive one.

Ellen prides herself on her patience and ability to listen to the needs of her customers while honestly offering opinions and guidance throughout the process. She is a student of what is happening in the market. Be it property values or assessing diverse neighborhoods, she is constantly on top of things and readily shares this information with her clients. Her creative background helps complete the vision of what her customer is looking for. Upon request she has even offered a suggestion or two on home renovation and decorating ideas.

Ellen believes in commitment in both her business and personal life. She understands that results are not always instantly attained and that it takes persistent hard work to achieve life's goals. Her life long dedication to fitness has resulted in completing 13 marathons. She continues to keep fit by working out, spinning and competing in agility with Cassie, her Australian Shepherd.

Ellen has lived in Manhattan for the past 30 years and currently owns a co-op in Tudor City.
